Woodward Avenue – back in the heyday of muscle cars, it was where Detroit area car enthusiasts and car company engineers went to test their latest creations on the public during cruise nights. A half a century later, it has evolved into an annual event where people come from all over to “cruise Woodward” during the Woodward Ave Dream Cruise weekend.
Chances are, it’s on your bucket list — you’ve always thought, “I gotta do that someday!” but you never got around to it. Well, if you’re a Viper owner, this is the year to do it! Viper will be the featured marque at the M1 Concourse car show. We’ve built a multi-day event called the Viper Dream Cruise. You’ll get to experience some things that you wouldn’t normally do if you just attended Dream Cruise on your own. Don’t miss this special opportunity!
- 1 Ticket per person- Catered lunch at the Conner Center historic car museum- Fireside chat with Chrysler design chiefs Ralph Gilles and Tom Gale as they discuss designing concept cars.- Tour Chrysler’s historic car collection at the Conner Center- Panel discussion with Team Viper as they discuss and answer questions about the development of the Viper.- Panel discussion with past Viper race team as they discuss the glory days when Viper dominated racing at FIA/ALMS.- Tour of Prefix’s 25 acre facility where they build/install their Viper 9L stroker motor and repair/restore Vipers.- Dinner and M1 garage tours of Team Viper members like Dick Winkles, Mark Trostle, and Ralph Gilles- Judged Viper classes in M1 Concourse car show. Enter your Viper in a judged show. Five classes (Gen I-V)- Viper exhibit and group photo at M1 Concourse. Display your Viper on the concourse at M1 for a group photo.- Cruise Woodward with an army of Vipers. Let’s show Detroit the strength of the Viper nation by cruising down Woodward together
